Invest For Growth funds through REACT, The Regional Technology Centre, triggered
off a successful chain reaction of benefits for businesses across South
Yorkshire.
REACT is an impartial not-for-profit organisation dedicated
to helping businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber region grow through
technology-related solutions. Specialist advisers offer impartial guidance
on a wide range of products and services and help clients identify funding
opportunities. Projects including IT solutions, training, technical placements
and product design led to the creation of jobs and considerable improvements
in the performance and capabilities of local businesses.
We understand
the pressures SMEs are under and are here to assist them with the minimum
of fuss and red tape. Dozens of companies are benefiting from the funding
through the IFG scheme, which aims to help enterprising companies increase
their sales and grow their businesses.
The installation
of an e-commerce site led to a Rotherham-based manufacturing company winning
new business including a contract worth £150,000. IFG funding helped a
local engineering company with the development of machine tooling, enabling
them to undertake larger contracts and handle specialised jobs.
The smaller
IFG grant is proving a very popular and effective method of stimulating
business. Companies are approaching us with excellent projects that have
been held back for a multitude of reasons, lack of in-house knowledge,
time, confidence, support and or cash.
We feel
